Extremely tasty! The prices are high, but in my opinion justified for the food. The mango lassi is awesome.

Bring plenty of time, have waited over 2 hours (!) For the food. Unfortunately, the bottom line is not worth recommending --- Service --- Waitress very kind and engaging. Unfortunately, the boss seems overwhelmed and a bit spoiled. Got a little grumpy after our feedback. Extremely long waiting times for the food. After we asked after 2 hours how long the meal might take, the blame was put on the guest (i.e. us), since we would have ordered a starter (attention! A soup!). The waitress was clearly uncomfortable, the boss didn't even have a hint of "sorry" from his lips. --- Eat --- Soup was good, spicy as described. Unfortunately, the main course can only be rated to a limited extent, as the appetite was completely lost after waiting more than 2 hours. What was tried was okay in terms of taste, but comparable to the other Thai restaurants in the area. No comparison to Bay Jok or similar. --- overall impression --- Due to the above I cannot recommend any reasons for waiting or dealing with the guest and I will not be able to recommend the restaurant to others. If I read further comments in parts, I would wish the owner to accept criticism and feedback.

For me one of the best Thai restaurants I know. In addition, the owner is a really likeable one-of-a-kind. I recommend the spicy seared beef.

Best Thai place in the area! Very friendly Staff!! Excellent food! Nice Atmosphere! Best Schnaps. I just have to recommend this place! You have to come! Just love it!

Thai restaurant with typical dishes. Family management, the Thai woman is in the kitchen and the husband in the dining room. Friendly welcome and quick service. The place is warm with a simple decor. Recommend if you are passing through the region.

Whoever complained here was not in it! Valentine's Day, 4 adults, 2 children! Excellent service, courteous and incredibly nice staff. The boss advises at the table. The food fresh and delicious. Everything very well and very attractively arranged. 6 people, 6 different main courses and all were outstanding. I highly recommend it. And I think to speak for all of us 6 when I say that this evening was wonderful. We thank and say: Goodbye!

Still my absolute favorite when I don't want to cook myself and I don't feel like Italian cuisine. Numerous visits, always the same quality. However, the boss is unique and cannot be called smooth. Has ever denied us dessert and even coffee: "because nobody else is there" and he wanted to close although it would have been over an hour. Nevertheless, I stay at 5 stars.

My wife and I were at Oriental on our wedding day and that was just the thing for the occasion. It starts with the loving decor, goes from the very good food with the wine recommended to the very nice and competent owner who personally welcomes and serves the guests. If you are not used to spicy food, you should say so beforehand, then the spiciness is adjusted.

Very very good food in a nice ambience. The boss himself advised on the dishes and the employee was very accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would always like to eat there when we visit again.

Mega delicious and authentic. My food had so many great and exciting flavors. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. We will definitely be back. Just as a restaurant we were looking for.

Food not recommended, not fresh, meat dry, breaded everything, rice or plum wine - or whatever that was - tasted, as if he was stretched with water - and the whole thing overpriced. Once and never again! And I can say of myself: I have traveled a lot in this world, know the authentic cuisine of Asia inside and out. And if there is something to criticize, then at this place that would like to be more than it is ... Nevertheless, all the best to the enterprising German owner!

In the second attempt, we managed to eat here after being closed in the summer due to company holidays. Overall I am very satisfied. The choice of dishes is clear and varied. The wine list is also impressive. I'm sure I was not there for the last time. When paying we had a very nice conversation with the owner and could learn the very interesting story of this restaurant.

Very friendly service, but the price-performance ratio is not at all right. Have not tasted such a boring Thai cuisine for a long time. The prices are outrageously high. In other really upscale Thai restaurant you do not even pay such high prices. Unfortunately, the taste does not justify the high price. Massaman Curry at Oriental has nothing to do with this dish. Barely flavored, bland in the taste and portion too small. The other dishes are not good in taste. The decor resembles a loveless Chinese restaurant. Compared to the Thai restaurants in the area (Karlsruhe - Heidelberg), the Oriental is unfortunately located at the bottom. Neither taste, ambience nor the prices invite here a second attempt to start. Recommendation? No.

I was not allowed in at 9pm. Supposedly "already too" although the store was still very well filled. Thank you for the hospitality!

On our first visit we were only irritated about the service. No professional operation by the operator. Recently, having been there for the first time with toddler, unreserved tables were awarded to two other groups who came after us "and also had not reserved". Such an approach leads to no recommendation and above all no further visit. As I read in other reviews, the operator likes to do that.

For 3 days in Sinsheim and a Thai restaurant wanted for dinner, came across the Oriental Thai, and were just thrilled. You can not even eat Thai in Cologne that well. The food was very fresh and delicious. So delicious that we want to take the cook to Cologne 5 stars + and that is still too little Thank you, thank you and really hope that you see yourself twice in the life ..

It will be great if they don’t mix Indian taste and flavor with Thai recipe. The stir fried basil pork is really good, almost the same taste like eating in Thailand but the salad serve a side had strange dressing smell, understood the chef add Indian spice on the dressing which it doesn’t fit with Thai food so I finish stir fried basil pork but leave the salad on the plate. Overall place got Indian incense smell so need to eat quickly and the leave otherwise can be headache but for those who like this kind of Indian incense smell then you will enjoy but not our case.

It was satisfying

Anyone who has ever been to Bangkok knows what a real Tom Yam soup tastes like and immediately recognizes a good Thai restaurant. Here it is absolutely original, I have never had it at any Thai restaurant in Germany. Everything else is also incredibly good. Class!
